31. AC Rectifier Diode Selection

Neha is designing a 24VAC to DC input stage for a control board. 

The rectifier section can carry up to 1A current. 

She needs a general-purpose rectifier diode to convert the AC input to DC. 

This diode should safely handle the required forward current and have enough reverse voltage rating for reliable operation.
