On an industrial front panel, ambient light from factory lighting, windows, and other displays can make standard LEDs hard to see. A high-brightness LED (≥80mcd) with a wide viewing angle (≥100°) ensures the indicator is clearly visible from any reasonable position.
Red is the standard color for alert, fault, or warning indicators in industrial equipment.
Required: Red · 1206 · SMD · Vf 1.8–2.4V · 20mA · ≥80mcd · ≥100° viewing · −40°C to +85°C · RoHS

Apply these filters:
Tip: Series resistor for 12V supply: R = (12V − 2V) / 20mA = 500Ω. Nearest standard value is 470Ω (gives ~21mA) or 510Ω (gives ~19.6mA). Both are fine.
