12. Motor Driver Bulk Capacitor Selection

Rohit is designing a 24V DC motor driver board. When the motor starts or load changes suddenly, the input supply can dip and disturb the driver. 

To provide local energy storage on the 24V rail, he decides to add a 100 µF SMD aluminum electrolytic bulk capacitor near the driver input.
