74. N-Channel MOSFET for LED Strip PWM Driver

Rohit is designing a lighting controller and needs to drive a 12V LED strip that draws up to 1A.

The MCU generates a 3.3V PWM signal to control LED brightness.

He decides to use an N-Channel MOSFET as a low-side switch between the LED strip and GND.

The MOSFET must turn ON fully with a 3.3V gate signal, so the gate threshold voltage must be well below 3.3V.

He wants an SOT-23 SMD package for compact layout.

Help him select a suitable N-Channel MOSFET from DigiKey.

Make sure it has a low gate threshold voltage for 3.3V drive, low Rds(on) to reduce heat, and can handle the LED strip current reliably.
